Established in 1963, Quinsigamond Community College serves more than 13,000 students annually through its day and continuing education divisions. The college offers over 70 associate degree and certificate courses in the fields of business, technology, health care, liberal arts and human services. It also organizes workshops, seminars and customized training programs. Quinsigamond Community College has a staff of nearly 770 full- and part-time people. The college is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Its athletic center offers opportunities to participate in a range of sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, softball, soccer and golf. Quinsigamond Community College additionally has a bookstore that stocks a variety of course materials. Its Children's School provides full- and half-day academic programs for children up to the age of five.
