We conduct supervised dog playgroups, which take place at local off-leash gated parks. Our current areas of service include Somerville and selected areas in Cambridge. Participating in playgroups is a logical fit for dogs who are, by nature, pack animals. While playing with their friends, your pet will learn how to 'be a dog' in a way they may not otherwise. Playgroups can provide an especially valuable experience for puppies, who need to learn the 'rules of the road' and for rehabilitating dogs, who may have come from isolated or abusive situations. By interacting with others on a daily basis, they learn to trust again and enjoy life as a dog. Once you become a client of On the Run, you can also take advantage of our in-house boarding services for those times when you cannot take your best friend along with you.
