Founded in 1962, Abilities First, formerly known as REHAB Programs, is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of educational, vocational and rehabilitative services for people with disabilities. It offers residential support, early intervention, nursing care, dietary counseling and employment assistance services. The center operates a preschool that offers educational programs for children between the ages of 3 and 5. It manages a clinic that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of more than 700 children and adults with disabilities. Abilities First also provides occupational, physical, speech and sensory therapy services.
