HistoryThe studio was created in 1975 by Madeline Duval. This talented photographer quickly grew her business and was known all over Massachusetts and Connecticut as a very talented and creative photographer. Madeline earned the following degrees: Master of Photography, Photographic Craftsman, and Certified Professional Photographer. She went on to earn many many accolades and awards from the Professional Photographers organizations including Photographer of the Year, the Hallmark Award, Fuji Award, Best Album, Courts of Honor, Loan Collection, and many more. In 2001 Photography by Duval was pleased to have Elaine Lusty join the studio as the school and event photographer. Today, the studio is still located in a beautifully renovated Victorian home in Palmer, MA.
