Karen Susskind, MD

Alyson is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where she received a Masters of Science in Nursing. Alyson’s clinical and professional experiences range from Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Director of Nursing, and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Massachusetts--Dartmouth School of Nursing. Her commitment to nursing education has included years of serving as a clinical preceptor for those entering the field of nursing. She practices from the Prima CARE, P.C. Gastroenterology Division offices of Drs. David Maddock, Frederick Schnure, Karen Susskind, and Donald Sutherland.

Dr. Maddock received his M.D. from the University of Dublin, Trinity College, School of Medicine, 1984. Dr. Maddock followed up his post-graduate training at the following facilties: Adelaide Hospital, Ireland; Federated Dublin Voluntary Hospital; Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital; and a fellowship at Tufts/St. Elizabeths in Gastroenterolgy. Dr. Maddock is Board Certified in Gastroenterology as well as Internal Medicine. Dr. Maddock has received honors and awards as a clinician and as a publicist in medical literature. He is active at both St. Anne's Hospital and Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. In addition, Dr. Maddock is one of the original twenty-three founders of the Prima CARE Professional Corporation.
