Hawthorne Youth and Community Center is a grassroots, non-profit organization that has been serving the needs of the community in Boston, MA for over forty years.

Founded in 1967 by a group of concerned community youth and adults, the center started in a converted coal cellar and later moved to a larger facility in Roxbury. With a focus on addressing community needs, Hawthorne Youth and Community Center continues to provide valuable programs and support to the local residents.
