History

Wonder Years Events was born when owner Marissa, a first time mother, was looking for a cake smash photographer in preparation for her daughter's first birthday. To her disbelief, industry prices were over $1,300. To make matters worst, that only included 10 digital images? On top of just photos, she thought, I need to buy a cake, an outfit, invitations, plan her birthday party...but how could I not have cake smash photos and memories of the experience for our family to look back on? It is our first daughter's FIRST birthday. So with a previous background in creative arts and event planning she decided to start an affordable one-stop-shop for capturing family milestones. The company grew to offer cake smash services to furbabies, people of any age (because let's be real- are we ever too old to stuff our face with cake?, special events such as baby showers, gender reveals, graduations, engagement parties etc.
