Victoria Surma is an attending physician in the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. She is also the associate medical director of the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) program at the Children’s Center. A graduate of the Temple University medical school, Dr. Surma completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Virginia and later finished fellowships in pediatric critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and in pediatric cardiology at Children’s National Hospital.

Dr. Padmini D. Ranasinghe is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include hospital medicine, internal medicine, preventive medicine and public health. She was appointed a fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP) in 2012. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the American College of Preventive Medicine.
