Based in Lovettsville, Va., for almost 40 years, Lovettsville Community Center has been providing recreational activities for the community. The center's facility includes a large community center with a full-sized gymnasium, classrooms, a childcare, commercial kitchen and music room/meeting room. The outdoor amenities include a seasonal pool, two lighted tennis courts, a tower playground with swings, a baseball field, basketball court and garden. Through its preschool, childcare and after school programs, it serves nearly 200 families each day. The center also provides a variety of classes and special activities for all ages, interests, abilities and also specializes in family events, offering more than 15 special events a year.
