Established in 1993, Peninsula Regional Health System is a nonprofit corporation that provides various health care services. The center offers various on-site services, which include psychological and psychiatric, dental, optometry, audiology and X-ray services. The outpatient services offered by the health care center include MRI, CT scans, ultrasounds, nuclear medicine and interventional radiology. Its rehabilitative services include physical, occupational, infusion and speech therapies. Peninsula Regional Health System also provides patient care management, emergency, home health, and women's and children s care services. Additionally, it provides diabetic management education, fitness and exercise instruction and prenatal classes for patients. Additionally, it has an orthopaedic and rehabilitation center that provides joint replacement, spinal and arthroscopic surgeries, and pre-and post-operative educational and nutritional programs.
