Founded in 1962, Manor Montessori School was the first Montessori school established in Maryland. The school serves students between the ages of 3 and 9. It organizes summer camps that include cooking, music, stories, and arts and crafts projects. Manor Montessori School assists students to work on enhancing language and math skills, as well as practice practical life and sensorial exercises. The school offers a range of practice activities, such as buttoning, snapping, tying, and buckling. It hosts classes in geography, history and science.
