Dr. Fizza Naqvi is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include nephrology, kidney and pancreas transplant.Dr. Naqvi received her medical degree from the Aga Khan Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. She performed a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed training in transplant nephrology at Johns Hopkins.Dr. Naqvi speaks English and Urdu.

Dr. Cameron is the director of the Johns Hopkins Department of Surgery and surgeon-in-chief of The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Cameron was born at Johns Hopkins and raised in Baltimore. He attended Harvard College and returned to Johns Hopkins where he obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. His surgical training was spent at the Massachusetts General Hospital and then at UCLA for Liver Transplantation. He returned to Hopkins as Head of the Liver Transplant Program in 2006. His laboratory studies stem cells and the liver to promote drug-free transplantation and other pursuits include the use of social media to increase organ donation. Dr. Francis Deng is an expert in neuroradiology, specializing in diagnostic imaging of the head, neck, brain, and spine. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College and earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. He then completed a medical internship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, followed by diagnostic radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, both affiliates of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Deng is a recognized educator both locally and internationally. He has authored chapters in bestselling textbooks such as First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 and Core Radiology: A Visual Approach to Diagnostic Imaging. He is an Editor of Radiopaedia.org and was Co-Convener of the Radiopaedia 2024 Virtual Conference, which had more than 13,000 registrants globally. With Medality (MRI Online), he was core faculty for the Fellowship Certificate programs on Brain & Spine Neuroradiology and for Stroke Imaging. For several high-impact radiology journals, Dr. Deng has received distinguished reviewer awards and served in editorial roles. He was a Visiting Scholar with the American Board of Medical Specialties in 2023-2024 and, as a student, served on the Board of Directors of the National Resident Matching Program. Dr. Deng has an academic interest in diagnostic excellence and error. Locally, he holds regular quality assurance conferences for radiology residents to learn from misses and misinterpretations. He hosted a podcast series on this topic published under the aegis of the American Journal of Roentgenology. He also serves as an expert witness in medical liability/malpractice cases.
