Nabha Tokekar, C.R.N.P., is a family medicine provider with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. N.P. Tokekar began her career in an intensive care unit as a registered nurse. She then worked at a community mental health facility where she helped care for intellectually and developmentally disabled patients. From there she decided to continue her studies. Her favorite part about being a nurse practitioner is partnering with her patients to help them achieve their highest level of wellness, and in doing so, focusing not only on their physical but also emotional and psychological well-being. In her free time, she enjoys music, traveling, reading, and nature walks. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband, her daughter, and their cat.

Jennifer Janus, M.D., is an internal medicine-pediatrics physician with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. After earning her bachelor’s degree, with a major in biology and minor in psychology, from Johns Hopkins University in 1994, she attended medical school at the University of Maryland, graduating in 2002. She went on to complete her residency in internal medicine-pediatrics at the University of Michigan in 2006.Dr. Janus is also a clinical instructor with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. She enjoys teaching and has precepted pre-medical, medical and nurse practitioner students. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, she was an assistant professor at West Virginia University Medical System-East. While in medical school, she taught board review courses and tutored first year students. During her residency, she helped create an “Intern Boot Camp” to educate first year residents on common inpatient issues. When she joined the Johns Hopkins team, Dr. Janus created an educational series to help train medical assistants at her Hagerstown practice. She has also provided lectures to the community on topics including Lyme disease and Substance Use Disorder.Dr. Janus provides primary care to patients of all ages and is particularly interested in mental health and substance use disorders.

Larry Shranatan, D.O., practices family medicine at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians Hagerstown. He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency in family practice at St. Francis Hospital.
