Lafferty, this 1909 two-story brick structure features a detailed stone Renaissance Revival facade and is one of three early 20th-century firehouses still standing in the area.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, Paca Street Firehouse is the only one of its kind to retain its original features, particularly in the interior.
