Founded in 1918, Montgomery General Hospital is a more than 145-bed, nonprofit community medical facility that serves the residents of Montgomery, Frederick, Howard and Carroll counties in Maryland. Its laboratory staff is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. The hospital operates an addiction and mental health center that provides community educational, crisis intervention, adolescent inpatient care, diagnosis, medication management and medical detoxification services. Montgomery General Hospital is located in Olney, Md.
