Julius Birnbaum, MD

Lena Mathews specializes in general cardiology and echocardiography. She received her medical degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She completed fellowships in cardiology and echocardiography at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Patricia Rutledge, PA-C, is a physician assistant who specializes in acute burn care. She sees patients aged 15 years and older for acute burn care and other wound care management. Ms. Rutledge obtained her master's in physician assistant studies from Rosalind Franklin University. She worked in emergency medicine for 19 years before joining the Johns Hopkins Burn Center team in 2023.

Alodia Gabre-Kidan, M.D., M.P.H., is a colorectal surgeon practicing in Baltimore and Odenton, Maryland. Dr. Gabre-Kidan performs a variety of surgical procedures, including minimally invasive options. Dr. Gabre-Kidan earned her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a masters of public health degree from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She completed general surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia Campus and a colorectal surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida.
