Dr. Elham Afghani is an assistant professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She joins us from Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She received her medical degree from University of California, Irvine. She completed her internal medicine residency as well as an extra year as chief resident at the University of California, Irvine, Medical Center. Dr. Hamrahian is located in Baltimore, Maryland.He received his medical degree from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, did his internal medicine residency at the University of North Dakota and completed his endocrinology fellowship at the Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Hamrahian is an Associate Professor of Medicine and has published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles, and has served as a co-author in developing guidelines for adrenal and pituitary disorders. He has presented at national and international conferences and has served as the principal investigator for a number of clinical research studies.
