Lisa Maragakis, M.D., M.P.H., FSHEA, FIDSA is a professor of medicine and epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Maragakis is the Senior Director of Infection Prevention, for The Johns Hopkins Health System and the Hospital Epidemiologist for The Johns Hopkins Hospital. In these roles, she is responsible for the conceptualization, planning, implementation, and development of the Johns Hopkins Health System's infection control and prevention program. Her research interests are the epidemiology, prevention and control of healthcare-acquired infections and antimicrobial-resistant gram-negative bacilli. Dr. Maragakis serves as the Executive Director of the Johns Hopkins Hospital Biocontainment Unit and as Incident Commander for the Johns Hopkins Medicine COVID-19 response. She also serves as the IDSA Co-Chair for the 2022 Update of the Compendium of Strategies to Prevent Healthcare-Associated Infections, and as Co-Chair of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC).

Dr. Melissa Leimkuehler is a diagnostic radiologist specializing in cross-sectional body imaging, with more than 15 years of experience in hospital and private practice settings.Dr. Leimkuehler joins Johns Hopkins from Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City, MO, where she was a staff radiologist with an expertise in body imaging. She earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) before going on to an internship there the following year. She also completed her residency at UMKC, serving as chief radiology resident. She went on to a cross-sectional body imaging fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Dr. Christopher Testa specializes in diagnostic radiology, with 10 years of experience in hospital and private practice settings. Dr. Testa earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. After completing an internship in internal medicine and residency in diagnostic radiology at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass., where he also served as chief resident, he went on to a fellowship in cross-sectional body imaging at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Testa joined the Community Radiology Division in the NCR in November 2021.
