David Northrop Hager, MD

Khalil Ghanem's, M.D., Ph.D., research interests include sexually transmitted infections and the vaginal microbiome. In 2008, he received his Ph.D. degree in Clinical Investigation from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

May Chen is the associate director of the neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship training program at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her area of expertise is diagnosing and treating premature babies and newborns with high-risk or complex health conditions. She specializes in neonatal-perinatal medicine and neonatology. Dr. Chen graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She later completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatology, each at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She became a faculty member in the division of Neonatology in 2018.

Dr. Daniel J. Brotman is a professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include hospital medicine and internal medicine. Dr. Brotman earned his M.D. at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Johns Hopkins.His research interests include hospital medicine, thrombosis and anticoagulation, perioperative medicine, care coordination, and readmissionsHe was recognized by the Maryland Chapter of the American College of Physicians with an Outstanding Hospitalist Award in 2012, has been named a Top Doctor (hospitalist) by Baltimore Magazine multiple times since 2011, is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), a Master in Hospital Medicine, and a member of the Miller Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence.
