Costas Inn, originally established in 1971 by Triantafilo's father, Costas, at 4100 Northpoint Blvd, has earned a reputation as one of the premier crab houses in the Baltimore area, celebrated for its crabcakes and steamed crabs. The restaurant is now expanding with a new location at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, which will seat approximately 250 guests and offer popular menu items from the original establishment.
This new venue, located on the second floor of the Grandstand by the Timonium Off Track Betting Center, will also introduce a draft system featuring 12 beers on tap, although it will not serve steamed crabs.
