Board-certified cardiologist Ayim Djamson, MD, is proud to treat the people of Beltsville, Maryland, and the surrounding Prince Georges County community at Metropolitan Cardiovascular Consultants, LLC.Dr. Djamson earned his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School. After graduating, he moved to New York City to complete his residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center through the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He then completed his fellowship in cardiology at the same institution.Today, Dr. Djamson is an experienced cardiologist, able to diagnose and treat many complex conditions, including cardiac tumors, endocarditis, heart rhythm problems, palpitations, and arrhythmias. At Metropolitan Cardiovascular Consultants, LLC, he provides diagnostic tests including cardiac catheterization, nuclear stress testing, and arterial dopplers in order to precisely identify his patients conditions.Dr. Djamson is committed to his professional growth and education. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Diseases, and he is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
