Proprietors Ting & Lillian officially opened Yoshi to the public on Friday, August 21st, 2009. It is the first full-service and only Japanese restaurant & sushi bar in Brewer, ME. Trust and have faith in Yoshi because you are in a great place and you're in good hands! You can always expect fresh and great quality food! Our lovely staff have years of experience. Customers have the option of sitting at a regular dining table, the sushi bar, or our tatami section. Ting is an experienced sushi chef and an exceptional cook, with years of expertise in fine Japanese and Asian cuisine. He worked in Bangor, ME for years and studied & worked, operating several restaurants, in the Boston, MA area for decades! He continues to learn new things as he works, and undoubtedly puts his love of food into everything he creates. He wants people to appreciate and admire fine Japanese cuisine the same way he does!
