Maine Mental Health Partners (MMHP) was founded in November 2008 by the board and leadership staff of Spring Harbor Hospital. The organization's founding mission was to create a more navigable, consumer-friendly, and better coordinated high-quality network of treatment services for individuals who experience symptoms of mental illness and substance abuse. MMHP serves the MaineHealth region which is comprised of the southernmost 11 counties of Maine. MMHP was designed to ease access to care for clients and reduce the cost of care delivery by sharing resources among providers.
