We offer people with disabilities the resources they need to make life choices and set their own goals. OHI is a Maine-based, public nonprofit organization providing supports and services for the past 40 years.

We are committed to being client-focused and maintaining status as a Center of Excellence in Mental Health and Substance Abuse care by providing high quality, community-based services throughout the state in an ethical, reliable and effective manner.

Established in 1981, Maine Mental Health Connections serves individuals with mental and developmental disabilities. The agency offers vocational training and behavioral care services, as well as personal growth opportunities for adults. It provides transitional programs for individuals aged 18 and above and diagnosed with mental health conditions. Maine Mental Health Connections offers employment services in custodial and maintenance fields. In, addition, the agency operates more than ten temporary housing units. Its Together Place Social Club offers a variety of social and recreational activities to enhance self-reliance and problem solving skills. Maine Mental Health Connections is licensed by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. The agency is located in Bangor, Maine.
