The Hospice of Eastern Maine offers a range of support and care services to terminally ill individuals. It provides skilled nursing, pain management, and primary and interdisciplinary care services. The hospice provides medications, medical supplies and home health aides, as well as conducts support programs for children and families. It also offers nutrition counseling social, and bereavement, emotional and spiritual support services. The hospice is a part of EMHS, which is also known as the Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems and operates several medical facilities and centers. In addition, the Hospice of Eastern Maine offers HOEM, which is a community-based program that is licensed by the State of Maine and certified by Medicare and Medicaid.
