History
Fogtown Brewing Company opened in 2017 in the rural city of Ellsworth, Maine. At the gateway to Acadia National Park, Fogtown has become a dedicated hub for local art, live music, community, and all-around good vibes. The brewery's ever evolving small-batch craft offerings are powered by Maine's farmers and growers and the wild foraged flavors of the Maine Coast. Our beer garden in Ellsworth now also features wood-fired brick oven pizza. We recently opened a second taproom in downtown Bar Harbor, with up to 18 tap lines, fine house-made eats, our limited-release wines, ciders, and new barrel blending program.
Specialties
Fogtown's brewing system and fermentation tanks were built in Maine, and 80% of all grains are sourced from this state as well. Fogtown offers refreshing Pilsener-style beers, Maine Coast IPAs, ales brewed with locally foraged herbs and spices, barrel aged stouts and sours, and much more!
