Harry S. Jones III started Jones Real Estate Agency in 1971 out of his family market in Surry, known as Jones' Market. While his wife and children worked in the store, Harry was left with a small amount of time to pursue selling and buying real estate.The business moved from behind the counter at the store to a house on High Street built by H. Blaine Davis, which was later purchased by R. H. Foster. In 1985 Harry again moved the business moved to 232 Main Street, which was a tea house at one time.In 1978 Harry's daughter Jennifer joined the agency as a sales agent and in 1988 she began appraising real estate full-time. Harry's daughter Emilie joined the business in 1984, handling secretarial duties, real estate sales and rental management.Jones Real Estate Agency offers real estate brokerage services, housing rentals and certified residential appraisals.Today Harry, Jennifer and Emilie remain very active with the support of their administrative assistants, part-time sales agents and Bucky, the maintenance man who has been with them for more than 20 years.

Licensed in Maine & Florida. Moved to Florida in 1990 from Newfoundland NJ. Lived on both coasts of Florida. Bought, sold & built a home or two along the way. Moved to the Florida Keys in 1999. I was an owner of Florida Keys Taekwondo, Inc. Had 150 students ranging from ages 3 to 70 years of age. Went to retail sales as Assist Store Mgr then promoted to Store Mgr of the Florida Keys Pier 1 Imports. Wanting to have control of my schedule and career, I decided on real estate. Passed the exam November 2009. Began home match making in the Florida Keys. Visited Bar Harbor and just fell in love. Purchased a camp in Gouldsboro ME. Rebuilt a new home looking onto Acadia National Park. We live in Maine & New Smyrna Beach Florida.
