Thomas West, MD

John Carter, MD, is the system chair of Otolaryngology and specializes in pediatric otolaryngology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Carter’s clinical interests are evaluating and treating pediatric patients with airway narrowing, noisy and/or difficulty breathing, and he has expertise in endoscopic airway surgery and open airway reconstruction. Dr. Carter also treats children with difficulty breathing in sleep and offers sleep endoscopy for those children with complex sleep issues. He has a special interest in the management of children with thyroid masses and cancer.

Dr. Kristen Hollas is a licensed clinical psychologist at Ochsner Health. Her clinical interests include providing psychoeducation and resources to families regarding mental health concerns; utilizing evidence-based techniques for children, teens and families to adjust to and cope with life stressors; and providing evidence-based services to young adults to cope with life transitions and mental health symptoms.

Kyle P. McMullen, MD, specializes in otolaryngology at Ochsner Health. They provide ear, nose and throat care for a variety of conditions, including ear infections, allergies, deviated septums, dizziness and balance problems, facial trauma, hearing loss, hoarseness, loss of smell, oral cancer, sinus pain, sleep apnea and swallowing disorders, among others.
