Small place on edge of cemetary. Not much seating, but sitting out back is peaceful. House-made chai is good, and they've got a decent list of non-dairy bevs. Pastries are good too

Acred Grinds is the only cafe in the Mid-City Necropolis! Visit our haunted coffee shop at the end of the Canal Street streetcar line, across from the Hurricane Katrina Memorial. We are "dead" inbetween two historical cemeteries: Oddfellow's Rest and St. Patrick's Cemetery. Stop by for a cup of brew from local coffee roasters and relax in our offstreet lounge that features a great view of our quiet neighbors. We have a great selection of pastries, including tasty options for those vegan zombie lovers out there. We will certainly satisfy your appetite for grraaaiiinnss!

Coffee shop + a cemetery? Discovered his spot after doing some research on coffee shops. Street parking on a busy road, we parked maybe a few feet away. Seating indoor and in the back patio....
