Rita Mae's Kitchen in Morgan City, LA is a quaint but amazing dining experience worth trying. Their famous chicken stew is unparalleled anywhere in anywhere in the South. Its inexpensive, incredibly food with a very loyal clientele. This may be one of Morgan City's best kept secrets. I'm back home in Washington State right now wishing I was there getting ready to tear into a plate of their food.

Not many people even pass through here, so most likely anyone showing up here has gone out of their way to be here. I was really hoping to try the fried chicken; however they were fresh out....
