Dr. Nikita Patel is a native of Louisiana, having gone to Louisiana State University for her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She went on to complete her Pediatrics residency at Children's Hospital of New Orleans with Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Dr. Patel's special areas of interest include newborn care and preventative medicine.

Dr. Ayaa Zarm is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and completed her residency in 2014. She has been on staff at Ochsner since September 2020. Dr. Zarm specializes in nephrology.Dr. Zarm received her medical degree from the University of Tripoli in 2004 and completed her internship and residency at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island. She completed her fellowship in nephrology at Metropolitan Hospital.
