Mallory's "Stretch ya brass" yoga at City Park yesterday was perfect! Between the wonderful hip opening asanas to the smell of Jasmine all around it made for the perfect restorative class I needed!

History
After being diagnosed with a rare kidney infection in 2013, New Orleans singer Robin Barnes was instructed by her doctors to start living a healthier lifestyle. Looking for accountability, Barnes took to her Facebook page to invite her fans and friends to join her on a run. Ten people she never met before showed up and Move Ya Brass was born. Cardio fitness and yoga classes soon followed and in 2019 two more run groups were formed: one on the Northshore in Mandeville and a trail running group that meets weekly at different parks outside New Orleans. Move Ya Brass' mission has always been to promote a happy, positive, and healthy workout environment to help you become the best version of yourself.
