Dr. LeBlanc was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Upon graduating from Jesuit High School, he proceeded to Charlottesville, Virginia for undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, where he graduated with distinction with a B.A. in Human Biology/Bioethics and a minor in Spanish. He then returned to New Orleans for his undergraduate medical education at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Upon completion of his undergraduate medical education, he undertook an internship in Internal Medicine at the Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He then completed a residency in dermatology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he served as Chief Resident during the final year of residency training. Upon completion of residency, Dr. LeBlanc continued his training at an ACGME accredited Procedural Dermatology fellowship under the mentorship of world-renowned Mohs surgeon and injector Dr. Gary Monheit at Total Skin and Beauty Dermatology in Birmingham, Alabama. During fellowship, Dr. LeBlanc directly assisted or personally performed over 2000 Mohs cases, as well as gained additional training in other aspects of procedural dermatology, including neurotoxins (e.g., Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin), soft tissue fillers (e.g., Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero, and Sculptra Aesthetic), chemical peeling, dermabrasion, and laser surgery. Dr. LeBlanc is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. As a native New Orleanian, Dr. LeBlanc was delighted to return to his hometown to open The Skin Surgery Centre, a patient-centered, state-of-the-art dermatologic surgery facility for the treatment of skin cancers by Mohs micrographic surgery.
