As a part of the Facilities and Maintenance department, the Caddo Correctional Center is spread over an area of more than 311,000 square feet. The center has a capacity of over 1,050 juveniles. The Facilities and Maintenance department provides is responsible of the repair and maintenance of Francis P. Bickham Building and David Raines Health Center. The department provides roof replacement, wire installation, remodeling and energy management services. It also replaces cooling towers, outside lights and air conditioning units. The Facilities and Maintenance department is governed by the Caddo Parish, which administers finance, human resources, public works and juvenile services departments.
