Baton Rouge Telco Federal Credit Union was chartered more than 80 years ago to serve the employees of Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph company. Since then, we’ve expanded our membership to include anyone who lives, works, or attends school in a ten parish region (Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, Saint Helena, West Baton Rouge, West Feliciana and Tangipahoa Parishes).

Bayou Federal Credit Union, started in 1954, is located in Baton Rouge La. It is a full-service, nonprofit financial cooperative, offering a complete line of financial products, such as land, construction, vacation homes, vehicle and personal loans. It also offers share secured, education, home purchase, equity and mortgage loans, visa credit cards and first mortgage refinances. Its other products include share savings, individual retirement savings, club, share draft and checking accounts, free regular checking, money market plus checking, check cards, reorder checks, investment accounts, share certificates and health savings accounts. Bayou also provides night depository, personal teller, 24-hour account access by phone, American express gift cards and travelers checks, money orders, wire transfers and notary service. Its additional products include credit life and disability insurance, GAP insurance, extended warranties, periodic payments, online banking and car buying assistance. National Credit Union Administration federally insures the credit union.
