Long Beach Mounted Police

The Los Alamitos Police Department is a law enforcement agency that prevents loss of lives, injuries and property damage. It maintains a crime prevention unit that conducts meetings to discuss crime prevention techniques, presents demonstrations and hosts community events that promote partnership between the community and police. The department also offers several support services, including gun registration, animal control, fingerprinting, weapon permits, and traffic and parking law enforcement. In addition, it maintains a team of school resource officers that conducts investigation, makes arrests and provides constant security through foot patrol inside the school. The Los Alamitos Police Department is located in Los Alamitos, Calif.
