In 1983, Spencer made a decision to be an ATV-only dealership because of the fast growing popularity of ATVs within the power sports industry. After nearly 30 years in the power sports industry as owner of Town & Country Yamaha, LTD, Spencer decided to hang up his helmet on a great ride. In 2001 he sold his business Kentucky Lake Oil Company, Inc Still doing business under the Town & Country name, Kentucky Lake Oil Company added Motorsports to the title and broadened the lines they carried to include Street Bikes, Dirt Bikes, Off-Road Bikes and Scooters.
