Todd County Public Library

December 8, 1976, Metro officials and friends of the late Dr. Z. Alexander Looby gathered to dedicate a new library, community center, and theater to the memory of the former Metro Councilman and civil rights leader. In September, 1998, Looby Library opened its Computer Learning Lab.

The City Recorder s office is administered by the government of White House City in Tennessee. White House City governs engineering, finance, fire and human resource departments. The city maintains a library that stocks a collection of books, magazines and reference materials to adults, youth, children and students. It administers planning and codes department that offers building, inspection and public information solutions to interested parties. White House City also operates police, wastewater, and park and recreation departments. It provides sanitation and street maintenance services through its public works department. The city maintains a senior citizen s center that organizes a range of recreational, educational and physical activities.
