The Mysterious Rack

History

The Mysterious Rack was originally a store in San Francisco, CA. The owner Olivia Griffin decided to move to Louisville, KY, and open a new store here because of the Kentucky Derby and the general good vibes in Louisville. She no longer has a store in San Francisco, and happily runs her shop in downtown Louisville. The Mysterious Rack has evolved to become a fashion hub downtown, where Olivia hosts themed events, puts on fashion shows involving other local designers and artists, and interacts with the vibrant small business community in Louisville. The Mysterious Rack is the home of the Griffin Hatters workshop and design studio, where hats produced for sale at the Mysterious Rack, and also shipped out to sell at other shops. You can find Griffin Hatters hats at Revelry in Louisville, Crittenden Clothier's in Midway, and Bob Micklers in Lexington. More recently, Olivia has been designing women's clothing and jewelry, and premiering it at local fashion shows.

Our in house workshop and design studio produces all of the hats for our in store brand Griffin Hatters.
