Terra S. Rhoades, APRN, CNM, is a nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife with Advocates for Women’s Health, a Part of Norton Women’s Care. Terra earned her master’s degree in nursing from The Ohio State University in Columbus. Terra believes in practicing evidenced-based care that is holistic, respectful and involves shared-decision making with patients to meet their individual needs. She believes in practicing with informed consent and within a framework to support those in vulnerable situations or with trauma history. Her goal is for her patients to feel heard and understood, and have their questions answered to help them achieve optimal health and wellness. Terra loves spending time with her husband and two cats, relaxing at home and trying new recipes in the kitchen, as well as exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping.

Dr. Spalding completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan. He earned a doctorate in pharmacology during medical school at the University of Colorado. His post-doctoral fellowship, during his residency at the University of Michigan, focused on combining experimental cancer therapies with radiation. Dr. Spalding completed a pediatric radiation oncology fellowship at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He provides multidisciplinary radiation treatment for children and adults, and adds research expertise to Norton Cancer Institute's clinical trials program. Dr. Spalding joined Norton Cancer Institute in 2009. Dr. Spalding has been voted by his peers as one of Louisville Magazine’s Top Docs for 2019.

Bethany Plummer, since she was a child, has always wanted to become a nurse to help those in need. The Louisville native realized that goal and has provided care to children throughout the city since 2012. She currently tends to kids with breathing and respiratory issues as a nurse practitioner for Norton Children’s Pulmonology. Plummer earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville and master’s from Indiana Wesleyan University. Plummer previously served as vice president for Louisville’s American Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nursing chapter. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising and spending time outdoors and with her family, including her twin sister.
