Mountain Comprehensive Care
Mountain Comprehensive Care Center, established in 1963, offers health care and housing services for senior citizens throughout Kentucky, including Floyd, Johnson, Pike, Martin and Magoffin counties. It offers a variety of services, including cleaning, dining, housekeeping, laundry, rehabilitation, wellness and transportation, and recreational and social activities. The additional services offered by the center include community support, crises intervention and psychiatric services. It also provides medical assistance that includes diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, retardation and substance abuse. The center organizes seminars in schools, and provides counseling to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is headquartered in Prestonsburg, Ky.
