Although initially established to assist Christian pilgrims in travel to the Holy Land and to serve mission/humanitarian groups, Kathy and her staff are experienced in utilizing travel industry networks worldwide to provide their clients with the treasured travel experiences they seek. The company has an extensive network of collaborative operators and seeks to present each traveler with a customized tour that matches his or her exact interests and needs. Dehoney Travel is a member of the American Society of Travel Agents and the Ensemble Travel Group Consortium.An extensive traveler herself, Kathy has hosted many trips to numerous locations in the Holy Land, Europe, British Isles, South America, Australia, China, Alaska and Hawaii. She also has extensive knowledge and experience in Europe, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, China, and other countries. Kathy serves on the Saving Lives Worldwide Committee for Rotary International, aiding in the collection and distribution of medical and dental supplies and equipment to Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Panama, Ecuador, and other countries.Kathy has conducted seminars and workshops on travel for many years, sharing her extensive experience in making arrangements for single travelers as well as groups of all sizes, ranging up into the hundreds. As she shares her experiences in staff management, negotiating vendor contracts, and hospitality essentials with others in the industry, her previous teaching experience shines through. Kathy holds an undergraduate degree in education from Stetson University with a master's degree from Georgia State University, and she taught children with developmental disabilities for several years before joining the travel business started by her father.
