Mill Ridge Farm is in the heart of the Bluegrass Region, minutes from the Bluegrass Airport and Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky. Mill Ridge is a full-service thoroughbred horse farm founded in 1962 by Mrs. Alice Headley Chandler. Mrs. Chandler inherited the farm from her father, Hal Price Headley, making her a 4th generation horsewoman. Now, two generations later, we continue to embrace the legacy left to us by our founder. We invite you to share in the history, experience a glimpse of the thoroughbred industry, and interact with our horses. Tours last approximately 75 to 90 minutes and are suitable for all ages. We can't wait to meet you!

Great tour guide--super friendly / pleasantly chatty. Kiddos had a blast--lots of hands-on time with horses (and a metric ton of carrots available for feeding).
