About Brown Funeral Home Brown Funeral Home is locally owned and operated. The funeral home was founded in September of 1972 by Robert M. and Mary C. Brown. Our location at College Street in Elizabethtown, Kentucky is the original building. It has increased in size, but still remains in the same location. Our staff consists of four embalmers/funeral directors, three funeral directors and one part-time worker. Robert M. Brown is the President of Brown Funeral Home. He has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1963. He is the son of the late Earl and Eugenia Brown and is married to Mary C. Thomas Brown who has been a licensed funeral director since 1977. She is the daughter of the late Lawrence and Agnes Thomas. They have five children and ten grandchildren. Tommy Brown started working at the funeral home in 1996 and became a licensed funeral director in 1999. He is married to Amy and they reside in Elizabethtown with their three kids, Taylor, Ella, and Satchel. Lora Brown Dixon began working in 1995 and became a licensed funeral director in 1998. She and her husband Timmy have one daughter named Morgan. Randall Newcom was licensed in 1978 as a funeral director and embalmer and started working for Brown Funeral Home in 1980. He is married to Belva. Jonathon Nunn is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He lives in Cecilia with his wife Michelle and son Landyn. Jeff Canary was licensed in 1990 as a funeral director and embalmer and started working for Brown Funeral Home in 1994. He and his wife Paula have two children and one grandchild. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is a family owned and operated firm established in Glasgow by Aubrey F. Crow, Sr. in 1928. In the late 1950's Mr. Crow's son, Aubrey F. Crow, Jr. became a partner with his father in the family business and in 1979 brought the third generation of the Crow family into the business when Aubrey "Follis" Crow, III purchased an interest in the business and continues as president and manager of the firm. Our Funeral Home has always strived to meet the needs of the families we serve in Barren and surrounding counties. We recently completed a full renovation and redecoration of our facilities including a spacious second chapel and visitation area, larger lounge and kitchen facilities and all areas are now fully accessible to those with disabilities. Our lighted parking areas are very spacious and have easy access to the entrance.
