We are a full service building contractor specializing in design, planning, and construction of buildings for industrial, commercial, and military applications. Our broad range of construction experience includes housing, office buildings, retail establishments, health care facilities, correctional facilities, educational facilities, recreational facilities warehousing facilities, and manufacturing facilities. In addition to beginning new projects, we also possess the experience and insight necessary to renovate existing structures. While our competent workforce has the capability of performing most trades in-house, we have developed a subcontractor workforce that is second to none. Howard W. Pence, Inc has successfully completed contracts with the private sector as well as the following Government agencies:-Howard Pence, who serves as President, has worked in various areas of the construction industry for 40 years. Prior to starting this company twenty-seven years ago, he served as an electrical inspector for the Corps of Engineers, electrical instructor at an area vocational school, and residential builder.-Mike Pence, Vice President, joined our firm after receiving his degree in Business Administration in 1971. His capabilities include construction management, project administration, quality control, and bidding.-David Pence, P.E., Vice President, with a degree in Electrical Engineering, became a part of our company in 1981 after serving an internship with an engineering firm in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He specializes in electrical installations and actively participates in project management, quality control, scheduling, and bidding.
