Jennifer F Le, MD

Dr. John Gallehr joined the University of Louisville Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2013. His clinical responsibilities include psychiatrist for the pediatric psychiatry and psychology consult liaison service for Norton Children’s Hospital. He provides psychiatric consultations for children with numerous medical issues including transplantation, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, cardiology and infectious disease. He also provides consultation services for the intensive care unit and emergency department. Dr. Gallehr provides inpatient psychiatric services for children and adolescents on the dedicated psychiatry unit 6 C.

Virginia F. Barbosa, M.D., is a pediatric psychiatrist with Norton Childrens Behavioral & Mental Health, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Braslia School of Medicine (Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de Brasilia), Brazil. She completed her adult psychiatry residencies at the State University of Campinas (Universidade Estadual de Campinas/UNICAMP), Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the University of Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Barbosa completed her child and adolescent fellowship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.She is board certified in adult psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Kentucky Psychiatric Medical Association.In caring for her patients, Dr. Barbosas goals include providing an accurate diagnosis, offering the best treatment alternatives and assisting children/adolescents and their parents in navigating the complexities of life and school. She listens empathetically to their goals to help them achieve a happy and healthy life.

Frederick J. Stocker Jr., M.D., is a pediatric psychiatrist at Norton Children’s Behavioral & Mental Health, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. Dr. Stocker has a special interest and experience in autism spectrum disorders, childhood trauma, attachment disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder. He is board certified in pediatrics, child and adolescent psychiatry, and psychiatry. Dr. Stocker believes each child needs and has the right to a healthy life, and his goal is to help the families and caregivers make this happen. He makes it a priority to collect as much information as he can and truly listen to his patients and their families. In his spare time, Dr. Stocker enjoys walking, hiking and reading. He also spends time with his grandchildren as much as possible.
