Abigail M. Williams, M.D., is a pediatrician with Norton Children’s Medical Group – Germantown. Dr. Williams earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She finds joy in caring for children and helping families stay healthy. Understanding the importance of healthy habits at home, Dr. Williams emphasizes the significance of preventing hospital visits, and encourages families to share their daily routines to accurately assess their lifestyles and provide tailored advice. She also motivates her young patients to explore healthy eating habits by suggesting new fruits and vegetables they can try, fostering a supportive environment for their growth and development. Dr. Williams is a Louisville native. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, exploring playgrounds and outdoor activities. She and her husband bond over cooking elaborate meals on Sundays, cherishing the time spent together as a family over shared dinners. She is an avid sports fan, cheering for the Cincinnati Bengals and enjoying football games with her loved ones.

Kate B. Prewitt, APRN, is a pediatric nurse practitioner with Norton Children’s Medical Group – Lakeview. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bellarmine University and her master’s degree in nursing from Spalding University, both in Louisville. Kate has dedicated her career to caring for children and supporting families. After working as a mother-baby nurse, she chose to become a nurse practitioner to take a more active role in patient care. She also is a board-certified lactation consultant, helping mothers navigate breastfeeding and exploring various feeding strategies tailored to their needs. Kate’s philosophy of care is centered on providing a compassionate, supportive environment where patients and their families feel safe and valued. She strives to empower parents, helping them feel confident and supported in their parenting journey, whether they’re breastfeeding, bottle-feeding or using other methods to care for their child. Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband, their twins, and their lively rescue dog. The family loves outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, and exploring parks and hiking trails. In her free moments, Kate likes to read and listen to Taylor Swift — she’s a big Swiftie!
