Megan E. Gruber D.O., is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. She earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center at Bowling Green, Kentucky. Dr. Gruber completed a cardiology fellowship at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio, and an electrophysiology fellowship at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She is board certified in echocardiography and nuclear medicine. Dr. Gruber provides outpatient and inpatient care for cardiac patients who experience arrhythmias. She focuses on providing individualized care for patients with a foundation of clear communication, and strives to help her patients understand their conditions and the available treatment options. Dr. Gruber works closely with other cardiology providers and broader medical teams to provide the best care for the patient as a whole. She is committed to offering a tailored approach for each patient’s goals of care to help improve their quality of life and cardiac health. Outside of work, Dr. Gruber enjoys traveling, reading and constantly learning new things, but above all, family is her foundation, and she truly cherishes time spent with family members and her dog, who adds joy, mischief and lots of love and laughs to her life.

Kimathi Doss, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. Chad E. Smith, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with Norton Orthopedic Institute and Norton Sports Health. Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center, Ohio, and a sports medicine fellowship at Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Smith treats patients of all ages and activity levels, providing comprehensive, quality care through a variety of surgical and nonsurgical treatment options. He has advanced training and expertise in arthroscopic management of the knee and shoulder and performs robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery. Dr. Smith serves as a team physician for several major local universities and has treated high school athletes in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky for over 15 years. Dr. Smith grew up in Oldham County, Kentucky, just outside of Louisville.
