She also has a clinical faculty appointment with the University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Orthopedic Surgery. She is currently the medical provider for the Western High School Warriors athletic teams. She is a founding member of the Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine (PRiSM) society and is active in research regarding meniscus tears, ACL injuries, cartilage injuries, and knee fractures in pediatric and adolescent athletes. Many of Dr. Brey’s former patients are now playing or have played at the high school and collegiate levels. A native of Louisville, Dr. Brey has been practicing in her hometown since 2011. Away from the office, she and her family enjoy UofL athletics, where Dr. Brey earned four varsity letters in swimming. Dr. Brey is a member of U.S. Masters Swimming and USA Triathlon.
