Buechel Metropolitan High School

Brooklawn Child & Family Services, founded in 1851, is a private, nonprofit Kentucky corporation offering a wide range of residential and community-based treatment programs for children with serious emotional disturbances and their families. Brooklawn also operates an accredited special education school in collaboration with the public school system. Its residential programs serve emotionally and behaviorally troubled boys between 6- to 18-years of age. The center also provides case management, out-patient therapy and in-home support services to children of all ages and their families. Its staff includes board-certified psychiatrists, clinical social workers, an art therapist, psychological associates, marriage and family therapists, nurses, special education teachers, recreation leaders, a chaplain and child care staff. Brooklawn Child & Family Services is approved by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services, and is located in Louisville, Ky.
